Secrets, shifting narratives, and the kind of tension that makes you suspicious of literally everyone. I’m deep in theory mode with this one and my suspect list is constantly changing as different plot points get revealed. I’m anxious to find out who really dun it in this one.

Inspired by my recent viewing of the film adaptation, Pillion, I picked this up wanting to dive deeper into the story behind the screen. Have only just begun with this one but I think I won’t be putting it down once I start.

Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid
Tension? Off the charts. Chemistry? Immediate. This rivals-to-lovers sports romance is delivering angst, banter, and the kind of slow-burn dynamic that keeps me turning pages way too late at night. Definitely was inspired by the hit tv show and I’m not even ashamed, because this is scratching the part of my brain that would stay up late reading fanfics in high school. Even though I kind of know the story, it’s quite fun to compare how the book differs from the story on screen.
